Use this calculator to estimate a GPA from course grades and credit values. Enter each class, choose or enter the grade value, and include the credits if your school uses them.

Example

If a student has an A in English, a B in math, and an A in science, the calculator can combine those grade values to estimate the GPA. If credits are included, classes with more credits can affect the GPA more.

Common mistakes to avoid

• Make sure you are using the grading scale your school follows.
• Do not mix weighted and unweighted GPA rules unless your school says to.
